STAGES OF CREATING CONTENT.

It's no news that content now runs the world. We see it everywhere we go. We're in the era of digital gadgets, so we get different content on these devices. Content is not words alone, they can be videos or a podcast. In this time and age where everybody is creating content like no man's business, the importance of quality needs to be looked at and addressed well.

That's where content creation strategy comes in. Going through the right stages can help you make creating content very easy because you know what to do. I'll be sharing stages of content creation with you, and I hope you follow those stages.

MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY

Starting anything with a strategy is the best way to do things. The same applies with your content. You should have a plan, in that way, you can track your result. Your content creation strategy includes your brand, the tone, and ways to promote your content. You should have all these down, and diligently follow them through, and at the end of the day, the result of managing and following your content creation strategy will give you results that you deserve.

WRITING

Writing can be very easy especially when you are writing what you want. Writing involves the process of gathering your thoughts on a particular subject together and putting it into words. There are 3 things you should have at the back of your mind when writing.

✓ Use clear grammar and words: There is no gain if you use bugous words when writing. You should have your audience in mind. You should use words people can understand and relate well with. The aim of your content is for your audience to get values and not check the dictionary for words that they don't understand.

✓ Let your writing be unique: Everyone is unique, so our writing abilities are different. You should let the uniqueness of your thoughts and thinking patterns reflect in your words. Let your words stand you out. Copy and paste will not take you far. Being you should be your aim.

✓ Have your audience in mind: One of the reasons why you write is for people to read your work. Everybody cannot be your audience. Know your audience and let your content satisfy their needs.

EDITING

Editing can be tedious because it is at that point you begin to see mistakes, start changing words, and giving it a better look and feel. So, I can say that editing is a subjective process. You may have to wait for a few more days to check out your content again. There are tools that you can use to help you edit, like, Hemingway Editor and Grammarly. You should also look out for a few things when editing your content.

✓ Check out for whitespace

✓ You should check out your voice.

✓ You should make use of short sentences.

✓ Use clear language and grammar.

DESIGNING

Adding designs to spice up your content will go a long way in helping you attain success. Having a poor design skill can water down your content. If you cannot make designs, you can just outsource it to somebody who can help you achieve whatever you have in mind regarding your content. If you have good content, but the design is boring, then it is not balanced.

Your designs should consider elements like color combination, use of logos, page layout, font selection, heading dimensions, and your delivery. Let your design sync with your content.

DISTRIBUTING

Distributing is as simple as sharing. While trying to share your content, you should be very consistent with creating content. You should commit to a consistent time of sharing because you wouldn't want to leave your audience hanging. One more thing you should do is publish your post in accordance with recent trends and events. You'll definitely get more reads.

In conclusion, do not jump the stages of content creation. Go all through all due process and give it your attention. You can create great content, but get it done by following all stages necessary. You've got it covered!
