My Life as a Teenage Girl

Those breast were growing shamelessly

The blood was getting ready for a release

Oh! It finally came; in clots

The round hips were forming just too fast

Curly hairs growing in strategic positions

Pounds of flesh adding up in shape

Oh! All of these look so beautiful and charming

It was a tough prime of transformation

It was a transitional stage of dependence

A struggle for identity, social acceptance, and relationship

Emotions building up in stages

It was really a hard time putting things in place

Love feeling spilling everywhere

Lust and infactuation that has refused to take heed

Those awkward feeling rising up in bits and waiting to explode

Those intense nature was difficult to handle

Beauty becomes so frustrating when you're told you are not beautiful enough

Staring at the mirror with cold eyes

Looking all defeated and disorganized

Depression was all around

Pretence was in place

It was a battle that was won at last

It was worth the fight for survival

As I take steps into being a youth

I’m off being a teenager girl.
