IS EVERYTHING GOD?

People are so religious.

We box everything to God doing it for us. If it is possible, God would bath for some people, and help them lay their bed. And that’s very rude, because I’m sure God will be looking at you and wondering how He did it all by Himself.

I ask you what you did to get to this point, and the funny response I get is, "my dear, it is God o". Are you kidding?

So, are you telling me that God read those books for you? Are you saying God stayed all night while you slept to take those online courses? Are you saying God showed up at work instead of you?

Hey, I know you love God, but is God all to the success step? I’m sure you would agree with me that you played a huge role and all God did was back you up. I wouldn’t want to put a percentage to the God part before some people eat me up.

Oh, you must be thinking that I don’t love God. I see. Well, I love God and He’s all I live for, but trust me, I know that the answer to how you got to where you are is not just totally on God.

A scripture in the Book of Proverb said that, if thou be diligent, you shall stand before kings and not mere men. Another scripture says that the gift of a man maketh room for him.

Even without reciting this verse, you know well enough that God is not all to every goals and acheivement you’ve made. Don’t get me wrong; God is there, but you have your part to play.

We need to stop narrowing everything to God. I feel it’s breeding lazy people. Let’s be real about all the effort we put in to get to the place we are.

If you’re asked how you got to the peak of your career, don’t start saying it is God and leaving every other important thing out. Be specific to how it started, plans you made, sacrifices you made, your diligence and dedication to it, and every other things you need to add.

Be truthful with all that you did. Some people may be shy and may not be able to dish out everything, but you can say what you’re comfortable with, and look for other reference materials to help and back up the little you’ve said.

A lot of people leave out important factors and start praying and trusting God for a miracle. Your prayers will make you a pastor because you’ll begin to get revelation and insights, and what you are really praying for is not forthcoming because you’ve ignored all other important factors.

I just want to point out that there’s more to success than just God alone. I truly admit that God is a very important person, and we should put him first, but the other things should not be ignored.

Let’s tell people the truth and let the breeze of success reach everyone.
