I completely agree with this perspective. Respect is earned, not given by default, and it's difficult to respect men who have chosen to do less with their lives despite the opportunities they have, while expecting more from others. As women, we often work so hard to achieve our goals and make something of ourselves, and it’s disappointing to see men who don’t put in the same effort. For me, it’s about ambition, responsibility, and character. If a man hasn’t even tried to elevate himself, how can I truly respect him?
