Mobile video consumption is on the rise, which means that businesses should follow this trends of using videos to advertise their products and services.

A lot of people watch more videos than they read content. It’s a marketing strategy that every business owner should use.

Things to have in mind before creating your video content.

✓ Make it very relevant and valuable:

As a business or a brand, I’m sure you understand that why you are out there is because you want people to see what you do and how valuable your business or your brand is.

So, every video content you must make must be relevant to your audience. Know what they want and find possible ways to meet them. When you keep dishing out content that are valuable and relevant, you have given your audience reasons why they should stick with you.

✓ Keep it targeted and short:

Your video content should be well detailed, at the same time, you should keep it short and targeted. Targeted means having your audience in mind, it’s very important.

✓ Have a clear call to action:

You should not put out a video without stating to your audience what you would want them to do after watching. Your call to action can be that you want them to make a purchase, sign up for a course, do a particular exercise, it can be anything. Point it to them and let them know.

I have also noticed that a lot of people post very long videos and that will bring me to answering how long should your videos be?

My answer is 120 seconds, but we must understand that, when it comes to videos, it varies with different niches and industries.

Some people prefer to watch very short and straight to the point videos, while some would prefer long videos, but that will require that you present your content in a way that is engaging and can hold the viewers attention for long.

The bottom line is, it depends on your audience and what they want. So, before you shoot your video, do a deep research into what will appeal more to your audience.

More importantly, know that videos doesn’t have to be expensive. There are various apps that can help you out with your videos, for example, Inshot.

In conclusion, video marketing is one strategy that has come to stay and doing it the right way will get you the right result.

There is no one way to the market, there are diverse ways. The same applies with social media. There are different ways to marketing, you should find the one that works and stick with it.
