Today and always, I celebrate You. It’s Your birthday, and my heart is filled with gratitude for all that You are and all that You’ve done for me.
You left Your glory in heaven to step into the brokenness of humanity, all because of Your love for me. If You hadn’t come, You wouldn’t have died to save me from the shackles of sin and restore the relationship that Adam’s fall broke in the Garden of Eden. Your coming changed everything for me, and it’s the greatest gift the world has ever received.
Jesus, I can’t imagine my life without You. Your presence is my anchor when life feels uncertain, my peace when the storm rage, and my joy in the midst of trials.
You came to bring light into my darkest moments, to replace my despair with hope, and to give me life where there was once emptiness. You didn’t just come for the world; You came for me, to save me, to redeem me, and to call me Your own.
What kind of love is this, that You would think of me, die for me, and make me part of Your family?
Jesus, as I look back on this year, I can’t thank You enough. You’ve been so good to me. Thank You for restoring my health when I was weak, for being my strength when I had none, and for carrying me through the challenges I faced.
You provided for me in ways I didn’t expect. You sent money when I needed it most, reminded me of Your faithfulness, and showed me that You are my source and sustainer.
Thank You for answering my prayers, the ones I whispered in tears and even the ones I couldn’t put into words. You listened to me, saw my heart, and made a way where there seemed to be none.
Thank You for my family and friends, for keeping them safe and allowing me to feel their love and support. The people You’ve placed in my life have been a constant reminder of Your goodness. For everything I may not have listed, the big and the small, Lord, thank You Sir.
Every day, I realize more and more how much I need You. I’m madly in love with You, Jesus. You’re my everything. You make all the difference in my life. Without You, I would have no direction, no hope, and no purpose. You fill the void in my heart with Your love, and I can’t imagine a life without You in it.
Today, I want You to know that I’m all in. I want to live for You, to stand with You, and to walk in the path You’ve laid out for me. I want my life to reflect Your love, Your grace, and Your power. I don’t want to chase after the things of this world because nothing compares to You.
Jesus, thank You for coming to earth, for choosing the cross, and for giving me access to the Father.
Thank You for being my Savior, my friend, and my guide. I love You so much, and I’m grateful for the difference You’ve made in my life every single day.
I hope that today and always, You keep faith with me, You keep me from falling, and you always remind me that You’re just enough for me. I want to live everyday in Your love and Your absolute will for my life. I don’t want to cut corners in my relationship with You and when you eventually come, I want to follow You to Heaven, where there are mansions as You stated in Your Word.
To my light and my anchor, Happy birthday, Jesus. I love You deeply, and I’m so honored to be identified with You.
Your Birthday is also my birthday, so I have decided to celebrate it with my family. We’re eating pounded yam and with Egusi Elemi MeJe. I would have invited You to come eat with us, but You will not eat. So, I have decided to eat it on Your Behalf.
Beyond the food, celebrations, and every other thing, You mean too much to me. I’ll not trade You for Gold or Silver.
